Tune-y TUNES-day // #02 feat. Nu

Happy TUNES-day! I hope you had a great long weekend and that you were able to catch some of the awesome live music listed here.

✨ Nu 💫

The artist I’m sharing with you this week is an international DJ of mystery, so I’ll try not to write too much and just let the music speak for itself.

The music Nu creates is perfect for tuning in and spacing out. Actually, it’s also awesome for when you need to roll up your sleeves and get shit done. I find it hypnotic and I could listen to these tracks over and over. They start out slow and subtld, deeply rhythmic tracks of juicy instrumentals layering themselves one over the other.

A brief bio found on Resident Advisor is about as in depth as it gets when it comes to finding out more about this instrumental electronic producer.

“A nomad of modern times, who has travelled the continents with his music, Nu is as diverse in his musical styles as he is welltravelled. Taking influences from his various homes, the producer and trained sound engineer branched out into various genres. Through this years-long musical journey Nu then found his true calling: instrumentals amalgamated with his electronic production all held together through solid rhythms.

Resident Advisor

I’m very very excited because this sonic mastermind recently dropped the above two new tracks on Spotify, I’m hoping it means a fresh new album is on it’s way! Both of these tunes are different from what I’m used to hearing from Nu because they are lyrical – most of the music from Nu is instrumentals featuring what I consider to be mantras and affirmations.

Four Seasons

Below you can find the Four Season album series – about 10 hours of deeply Frissonic tunes.

This dish is best served with headphones, a walk/drive, and getting lost for a while. Feel those rhythms deep inside. Enjoy!
